The converter preserves your sensitivity curve shape in both directions. That means the core feel of your aim stays the same. However, any advanced settings that are exclusive to one version will not carry over. For example, Custom Curve 4 settings like per-point weights or hand modulation are lost when converting back to 3, and any Custom Curve 3 specific metadata is replaced with defaults when converting to 4.
